Sassy Saturday - Reader Beware (well kind of)

Yesterday morning I discovered a nice little charge on my Pay Pal account (again) from those sneaky little disclaimers, you know the ones, those unread, hidden statements where perfectly hidden fees and charges are stowed away for forgotten times.

March 16, 2012 I must of tried a FREE TRIAL (let's all laugh out loud here!!!!) version of AVG for the protection of my computer. Of course I never used it or downloaded it because I use McAfee and have for the past year very successfully! AVG took their FREE money and went on their way for the next year without a thought about or from me.

January 16, 2013 I guess I received an e-mail from AVG letting me know that they were coming for some MO MONEY and as usual I missed the notice. So 45 days later (yesterday to be exact) they took their money. Alrighty then, I realize that I am to blame! I realize that time and time again I give Corporate America another opportunity to do for me what they say in CAPITALS on their front page...and I am the ass that fails to find all the run-around, hidden buttons, words and code that say otherwise. I am the idiot that allows These Monstrous Bullshitters a handout to my bank accounts and virtual studio, with little or no recourse at all!

I get hung-up on, computer freezes (hmmmm...interesting, rarely does that!) and told that they have the right to take my money, like didn't I read the statement where I get it back  just as soon as they have collected and used hundreds of millions, of what I like to call "Crazy money" (cause we the common folk is CRAZY people for allowing corporate to keep taking it)  to turn investment profits before it is returned!!!(AND BREATHHHHHH) 

So I demand that we the "crazy" people have the same rights as these Corporate apes! We have the right  to a fair and timely, AS IN IMMEDIATE, return of OUR money that has been processed in a backroom manner and taken from us! That we should receive fees paid to us when we are unjustly stolen from by ways of their little hidden tricks and "contracts" written in an illegible font size 4, somewhere lost in translation.

OK how about realistically they have to do what the Surgeon General had to do eons ago with smoking and enlarge the truth on the front page ad for the product itself. I advocate that they have to make statements like the drug companies (awkwardly) have to list, you know something like;

WARNING: PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE ACCESSING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND CONTINUE TO TAKE YOUR FREE MONEY UNTIL YOU (YOU JOKER) DISABLE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM OUR SNEAKY LITTLE HANDS!

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY OR SEND YOU AN INVOICE FOR SERVICES YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID US FOR  AT LEAST TWO TO FOUR WEEKS PRIOR SO THAT YOU ARE PAYING DOUBLE FOR YOUR SERVICES! 

PLEASE NOTE WE WILL BE PLACING EXTRA FEES AND UP CHARGES, WILLY NILLY, THAT WE WILL NOT ACCOUNT FOR. 

DO NOT HIT THE PAY BUTTON TWICE BECAUSE WE HAVE A BACK ASS SYSTEM THAT BENEFITS US GREATLY ON DOUBLE CHARGES (WHICH OF COURSE WE WILL REFUND TO YOU WITHIN 10 TO 60 DAYS)

I personally love that one because first the screen freezes and I wait...... waiting.....wait.....hit it one more time (maybe I didn't push hard enough) and then.... they tell me with a coy little message and an adorable Smiley face;

                " 0ops! Please be patient as we are processing your charge. Hitting the button 

                                                  may create a second charge :) "

But we all know that that's not going down! I mean we've won a few battles with all the petition websites that are available today and I for one have signed quite a lot! So for now, I'm gonna wise up and start reading, stop clicking and keep a microscopic eye on my Pay Pal and bank accounts. I will diligently check invoices, and all payments that are being charged to me because for one, I am tired of getting sodomized  in my sleep people. Let's Wake up and smell the shit covered roses cause hidden words, fees and links are quietly draining American citizens one undetected penny at a time.
